If On Screen Keyboard Pops Up Automatically! How To Resolve it?

Method To Fix If On Screen Keyboard Pops Up Automatically:

1. Turn off On-Screen Keyboard Settings:

First, you should press Type here to search button on the taskbar in order to open Cortana. After this, you should input the keyword ‘ease of access’ in Cortana’s search box. Now, you have to choose Ease of access keyboard settings just to open the window. Then, you have to toggle the Turns on the On-Screen Keyboard option off if incase it is on. If you want to check the Use on-screen keyboard setting in the Control Panel, then you should enter ‘ease of access’ in Cortana. At this point, you have to choose Ease of Access in order to open the Control Panel window. Here, you should tap on Use the computer without a use or keyboard option just to open the settings. At last, you have to Deselect the Use On-Screen Keyboard option and then hit on Apply or OK buttons.

2. Remove Software from System Start-up:

For this, you should open Task Manager by pressing Windows key + X altogether and then choose Task Manager. After this, you should hit on the Start-up tab in Task Manager. 3. Switch off Touch Keyboard Service in Windows:

To fix this issue, you should switch off the Touch Keyboard service in Windows. For this, you should enter services.msc in Run and then hit on OK button. At this point, you should double-click the Touch Keyboard and Handwriting Panel Service on the Services window. Now, you should choose Disabled option on the Startup type drop-down menu. 4. Edit Registry:

The registry has ShowTabletKeyboard DWORD which can configure with the Registry Editor. For this, you have to enter regedit in Run’s text box and then press Return to open the window. In the registry location, where you have to go to is HKLM

(HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE)\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Authentication\LogonUI

Now, you should double-click ShowTabletKeyboard just to open the Edit DWORD window. In case, the value data for the DWORD is 1, then you should delete that value. Here, you should enter 0 in the Value data box and then press OK button in order to close the Edit DWORD window.

5. Roll Windows Back to Restore Point:

If you want to open System Restore, then you have to enter rstrui in Run and then hit on OK. After this, you should hit on Next option just to open a list of restore points. Here, you have to choose a restore point which will delete recently installed software. Now, you should press Scan for affected programs button. Then, you have to tap on Next option and then hit on Finish button in order to confirm your selected restore point and then restart Windows.
