On June 5, Microsoft has provided update KB4022159. This update applies to Office Professional 2016, Office Home and Business 2016 and Office Home and Student 2016.

This update includes the following improvements and fixes:
- While exporting a document to PDF, lines drawn with a pixel-wide pen are drawn denser than intended sometimes.
- This update enhances the Danish translation for the Show command on the Analyze tab when you do a pivot table in Excel 2016.
- When you try to restore by the Restore button, a file to an initial version in version history in SharePoint or OneDrive Server, it does not work.
- The update corrects given translations in Outlook 2016:
– Ribbon hotkeys in Russian.
– The translation of Free in the Contact card in Swedish.
- Version history of documents is not showed and you get the given error message:
“There was a problem getting version history.”
- You can place the DisallowWinCredsToBePersisted registry key to disallow SSPI credentials to have persevered in credentials manager. For allowing this characteristic, place the value of the registry key to DWORD 1 in the given location:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\16.0\Common\Identity
This update has prerequisite and that is you must have Microsoft Office 2016 installed.

- Open any MS Office application, for example, word or excel and create a new document
- Choose file option, select account or help from the list
- Under product information, you will see your product name and full version number.
Then also if version number doesn’t appear, choose about Word. A dialogue box opens and it will show full version number and bit version (32-bit or 64- bit)
Restart notice: You may have to restart the machine after you install the improvement.

To discover whether your Office installation is MSI-based or Click-to-Run, obey these actions:
- Start an MS Office 2016 app.
- Select Account from the file menu and you will get the details.
- For MSI based installations, the Update Options item isn’t shown and for MS Office 2016, Update Options will surely be shown.
How to uninstall this update
On Windows 10
- Go to Start, then write View Installed Updates in the search box and press enter.
- List of updates will be shown, select KB4022159 and then select Uninstall.
On Windows 8 and Windows 8.1
- Swipe in from the right edge of the screen, and then select Search. If you’re using a mouse, point to the lower-right corner of the screen, and then select Search.
- Enter windows update, select Windows Update, and then select Installed Updates.
- List of updates will be shown, select KB4022159 and then select Uninstall.
On Windows 7
- Click on Start Button, enter Run and then select Run
- Write Appwiz.cpl, and select OK.
- Select View installed updates.
- List of updates will be shown, select KB4022159 and then select Uninstall.
